1 Star Never felt more ripped off in my life!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
This does nothing but waste your money and house space! A complete piece of crap! These five star reviews are totally bogus! Resistance springs? There is NO, I repeat, NO, NO, NO RESISTANCE whatsoever! You might as well be doing crunches without it. You still have to pickup your head and arch your back to do a crunch. As soon as you sit back, blop, right to the floor!!The only thing good about it is it took me five minutes to put it together, that was simple. This is soooo going back! DON’T WASTE YOU HOPES OR MONEY! WHAT A SCAM! Amazon, do yourself a favor and don’t sell garbage like this, it only make you look bad!
1 Star Utter junk…
Disclaimer: I am already in very good shape. I went over to a friend’s house the other day – one of those people who tries all types of dubious things to get in shape – and I happened to see this thing lying among the numerous no longer used exercise devices. I tried this awful thing and got no burn, no intensity. It was awkward and ineffective. I thought, “there is no way this could be used to meaningfully build you abs beyond anything one could do for free”. No biggie and no surprise. What chaps me off is that this morning I see this joke of an informercial on TV showing all these ripped people using it. It so funny because they show a smiling happy hardbody using the device and then a obese person trying to do cruches with pain on their faces. The big selling point seems to be, “won’t hurt your back and neck”. Well, ab work done correctly with just the floor won’t hurt either. The before/after photos were awful. This obviously plays on the hopes of people. Even the offer was deceptive. 14.95 free shipping to, uh, TRY it. They don’t mention price and also show that they will try and upsell you with some stupid rubberband attachment. So, bottom line, not only is their marketing disengenuous – fyi – this thing stinks. I feel sorry for people that buy it wanting to believe. Go with one of the ab balls on amazon instead. Those will not pain your back and neck and acutally work. Max Fitness 75cm Exercise Ball with Foot Pump (Black)
2 Stars BIG MAN!!!!!
WELL FOR A 200 LBS. MAN IT DOESN’T LIFT YOU BACK INTO SITTING POSITION! NOT ENOUGH SPRING TENSION! NEED MORE LIFT FOR BIGGER MEN! IT WOULD DO THE JOB IF THAT WAS FIXED! DON’T RECOMMENENDED THIS FOR LARGE MEN OR WOMEN! BUT HOPE THAT THEY DO SOMETHING TO FIX THAT! OR BUILD BIGGER ONE!
2 Stars NOT worth the money
For starters, this machine DOES work your abs. Is it worth the nearly $100 it sells for? Absolutely not!
You can get much cheaper devices that get your ab into better shape than this device. It simplifies doing sit-ups, but it’s way more expensive than it should be. Despite its advertising, it’s NOT that comfortable. Out of my dad, mom, and sister, I’m the only one who still uses this, the others grew very frustrated with it.
It’s also a cheap build, the back doesn’t seem very stable (at least in mine). If you want to build strong abs, find a cheaper alternative!
1 Star I have 4 other ab exercise machines
I been working out for years now and I’m always looking for new exercise machines that get the job done faster and that has more of a intelligently designed to it. Pretty much if it doesn’t feel like work and it shows great results in a short time period then I’m happy with it. When I tried the AB ROCKET I was disapointed. It looks like it’s put together rather cheaply and I didn’t get that much of a workout with it. I tired it for a whole month, still didn’t like it so I returned it. I also noticed none of my friends have one of these stupid machines either and they are big on working out. Most of my friend have the AB Lounge, I go to a lot of random parties and see this product in their houses. I also own a AB Lounge it works pretty good, I’m happy with it but I mix it with other ab workouts. I Have an AB wheel which is great if you can use it the right way. I also bought two AB Circle Pros this month. Now the ab circle pros were kind of easy since I work my abs out a lot but you feel it right away especially after 4-6 minutes of it. The other ab workout I do is on my power tower… I lift my legs up and down to get the lower abs, I also do sit ups. It’s good to do more then one of these… but I put a lot of money into my gym. I just think the AB rocket and the AB belts are a joke… both cost $100 I rather spend that money on something more useful ha ha

Perfect Pushup Original

Developed by a U.S. Navy SEAL, the Perfect Pushup uses the principals of biomechanics and engineering to help you comfortably do effective pushups, without undue strain on your wrists and elbows. It also helps stabilize and strengthen the shoulder joint. The unique rotating handles allow your arms to rotate naturally when you do pushups, which helps speed up results by engaging more muscles in the arms, chest, shoulders, and back. As seen on TV. 4 Stars Nice Small Investment for the Long Run
I’ve had the perfect pushup for only 4 days. I am not a body builder. To the contrary, I am more like one of those gadget guys that are always constantly doing stuff in front of computers or on their blackberries.
Is the perfect pushup worth all the hype? Probably not. However, I can definitely feel more soreness on my chest and bicep muscles. The added height and rotation all add up to a more thorough workout for the entire upper body. I usually couldn’t exercise my chest muscles as much as I wanted to with the conventional pushups, but with this I can. I have to admit it is much harder than it looks on TV, I can only do 1/3 the number of normal pushups on this (doesn’t really help with confidence, does it?). It took me a while to get the hang of the rotating motion. I hope I can rotate slower and smoother when I’m more used to it.
It is 30 bucks well spent for my light exercise routine. I would recommend it to my friends.
5 Stars Works Good
I’ve had this product since it was released several years ago. It works quite well, it is not as good as push-up handles that you bolt to the floor, but for 30$, they have been very useful, I gained about an inch to my arms in a month using them in conjunction with chin-ups.
1 Star Scam
It’s a scam. Don’t buy it. It’s much better to do pushups with your bare hands. This gimmick can be dangerous to your hands and wrists
5 Stars Great Product
I was given this as a gift and was definitely a skeptic.
Great Product.
5 Stars Great!
This product works out a lot of your stabilizer muscles, along with the big muscle groups of the pushup. The bar itself adds a few inches to your pushup so you can go down further and work your chest more. Great product and feels sturdy enough to last a few years.

Valeo Dual Ab Wheel

Two non-skid wheels for stability and durability. Cushioned rubber foam grips for comfort. 1″ spacer between wheels for added stability. Strengthen and tone abs, shoulders, arms and back.
User Ratings and Reviews
4 Stars not bad for abs for price
You have to be patient and work at least 3-4 times a week. Also do something else because Ab wheel alone won’t do it. I like the product for the price & installation was piece of cake. not bad to have something else apart from regular exercise.
5 Stars Feel the burn!!
The Ab Wheel works GREAT. Immediately after using it for the first 5 minutes I could feel the burn. I love it and it is easy!
5 Stars Build that six-pack!
I’ve read several reviews here with people being confused or disappointed, but I think perhaps expectations were different. First off, I’m not a trained professional, but I’ve been exercising for years and I pay close attention to proper form for the most effective effort. I’ll try to explain how this works and what to expect.
– CORE MUSCLES WORKED WITH AN AB WHEEL:
Shoulders, arms, upper and lower back, abs (all sections)
– WHAT TO EXPECT ON QUALITY:
The quality on these things doesn’t have to be fancy – it has a simple use and just has to be functional. Two wheels are better than one, however. The wheels are solid plastic/rubber and the grips are similar. Are the grips terribly comfortable? No, but they’re not bad either and you aren’t using it for hours at a time -just minutes. Wrap some tennis racquet grip around them for added comfort if you want more, but it’s really not needed. This is a basic tool and doesn’t need to be made of expensive materials. The bar through the middle is solid metal (not sure if there is a weight limit but I’d guess at about 200lbs).
– PUTTING IT TOGETHER:
It arrives in a box as two separate wheels, a metal bar, two rubber handles and a single sheet of instructions. Place the bar through the wheels and center them as best as you can. Then slide/wiggle/twist one handle all the way onto one end of the bar (I didn’t need grease – it went on pretty easily, yet snug). Then try to line up the grip of the other handle and slide that onto the other side of the bar with the wheels in the middle. Push on the ends of the handles to make sure they’re on all the way. You will be able to twist the grips a little to line them up perfectly. Putting it together took me only a couple of minutes.
– USING IT (BASIC):
Using the Ab Wheel is simple, but really works the abs if done correctly. This simple devise helps create the line down the middle of your abs for that nice six pack!
Kneel on the floor with one hand on each handle and the wheel positioned on the floor, centered before you. Without arching your back (keep it straight and keep your head straight too – don’t look up or drop your head down) slowly roll the wheel away from your knees in a straight line before you. Your body moves forward with the wheel, away from your knees – this is KEY to making this move effective! Your weight is supported via your hands on the bar and by your knees (and a straight back). The further you can stretch your arms out before you and the further you can lean away from your knees the more you will work the core muscles in your abs. When you’ve rolled out as far as you safely can, reverse and roll back up to the starting position (this should be hard!). Line your body up facing a wall (knees 2-3 ft from the wall) and roll out toward the wall if you want something there to help you stop rolling. Line up further and further away as you get stronger.
You may not be able roll out more than 2-3 feet at first but that’s okay. (When I stop my abs/hips are about 10-12 inches from the floor. You want to aim for about a 45 degree angle from your knees to your hips and then a countering 45 degree angle from your hands on the ab wheel to your shoulders. Think of making a bridge with your body where your knees are one support on one side of the water and the wheel is the other support on the other side of the river/body of water. Again, the farther you can stretch out, the more difficult the workout, but be careful and don’t push too hard too fast or you’ll tear something! Use your head and be conservative at first.
Beginners should probably start with 1-2 sets of 5-10 reps and work on rolling out further as you become stronger. I’m trying 2 sets of 10 reps and my abs are SORE after 2 days of this!!
It’s IMPORTANT TO KEEP YOUR BACK STRAIGHT and to not arch it as you roll out. You can hurt yourself if you do this move incorrectly. The wheel comes with some basic instructions that show you the proper form. READ THE INSTRUCTIONS!
– USING IT (ADVANCED):
Once you get comfortable using it as described above, add a twist and rather than just rolling straight ahead of you, keep your knees still and roll out at about a 25-30 degree angle left or right of center, twisting at the waist. This will really focus on the oblique muscles. I’d suggest alternating each direction during your reps, but that’s just my opinion.
This really is a GREAT ab workout and you WILL feel it if done properly. Good luck on that six pack!
5 Stars The Valeo Dual Ab Wheel, don’t forget it has more uses…
Take the Valeo Dual Ab Wheel, find your sturdiest stepchild and largest backpack. Install backpack on stepchild. Attach Ab Wheel to Stepchild.
Voila!
Crude wheelbarrow.
Also, good for the obvious exercise usage.
5 Stars totally worth the money!
This ab wheel really tones your abs! It’s cheap but works very effectively. The only thing that botheres me is the handles are really hard…so wrap towels around them. Plus, this gives you a great burn in your arms and shoulders.

Slendertone Mens System Abs Toning Belt
Slendertone Mens System Abs Toning Belt

Whether you’re a casual exerciser, a senior, a fitness enthusiast, or someone facing physical challenges, the Slendertone System Abs Toning Belt for Men can help you build a stronger core foundation. Simply follow the 30-day toning plan for 30 minutes, five times a week to develop your abdominal strength, muscle mass, and power. Discreet, comfortable and easy to use, the Slendertone System slimline belt enables you to build power abs anytime–at home, while working at the office, out the garden, etc.
The rechargeable, handheld System Controller plugs into the toning belt and displays information on toning programs, time and intensity all in the palm of your hand. It features seven toning programs, up to 99 intensity levels, and warm-up and cool-down phases. It’s backed by a two-year warranty.
Slendertone uses clinically proven, patent-pending C.S.I. (Concentrated Slendertone Innervation) technology to firm, tone and strengthen your entire midsection with patented medical-grade muscle stimulation technology. Signals from the belt reach out to nerves where they are most concentrated. These nerves branch out to reach all the abdominal muscles (not just those under the pads) causing them to relax and contract naturally, exercising all the muscles at the same time.
Used regularly (as little as 30 minutes a day) in conjunction with a healthy diet and some moderate exercise, you will notice results within four weeks. You can wear the Slendertone System belt when you just don’t have time in your hectic schedule to hit the gym or go for a run, or wear it during your workout for added emphasis.

5 Stars Solid kick in the gut.
This thing will really give you a nice kick in the abs. I’m wearing it right now at 40/40 (each side is adjustable) out of 100. Feels about the equivalent of holding myself at 45 degree angle sit up for 5 seconds.
Sometimes it feels like one side is stronger than the other even if you adjust the numbers to compensate (can’t go more than 10 settings higher on one side over the other. If this happens its probably because the lubrication is fading or its not tight on one side. You can check if its loose by pushing the pads into you while using and see if it feels stronger. If it isn’t stronger you can use water/sponge and cover both sides of the pad that feels weak. Petroleum jelly seems to also work decent (KY or the Equate off-brand is cheaper). I don’t expect the pads would really ever wear-out with these methods, but without the pads would probably weaken after 2-3 weeks with good care.
As for how it feels, everyone I’ve let try is really nervous just before it starts, but on the starting 1 setting it just feels like a little tickling vibration with the vibrations getting stronger as you go up. Definitely not painful or anything to be afraid of.
I’ve used it almost every day for the past 1.5 weeks and haven’t had to charge it even once since taking out of the box. I’d imagine most of the kick is really being done by your own muscles and the belt provides just enough electricity to simulate your brain telling the muscles to contract.
As for how it looks, if you put the controller in your pants pocket instead of the belts pocket you could wear it to work or wherever and no one could tell you had it on. If you leave it in the belts pocket you might look like you have a stomach tumor but still works just fine for around the house.
Bottom line is my abs are tighter and warm to the touch even a day or two after a workout. It definitely has the kick to put you on the floor with more to spare. I doubt I could continue standing for long if I kept the power above 50. They have an arm version I might have to try as well.
5 Stars Ab Toner
I have been using the ab belt for over 2 weeks now. I can attest to the fact that my stomach muscles are getting a good workout, by the strength of contractions. I’d like to fully review the product after the 8 weeks it says the ab belt needs to provide muscle toning. The product works as advertised, and has a decent battery life before it needs a recharge- about 3 uses on high levels.
4 Stars My Slendertone
This is the first time I have used any electric muscle stimulation. The Slendertone Abs came out of the box ready to go. I had no problems figuring out how to operate the toning belt, and it fits comfortably. I am a fairly skinny person trying to get rid of a layer of fat, and wanted to use this for toning. I realized the actual belt is designed to fit thin people to people much bigger than I. Regardless, the fit was fine.
I purchased the product under the impression that I’d be able to use it regardless of my activity. This is true at low to moderate settings. As I progressed to high settings, I realized that I needed to isolate my movements to prevent stimulation of the nerves in my hips or an awkward flexing of my abs when I was in a bad position. I ended up lying down when the setting was high.
I am satisfied with the Slendertone Abs. I live in Korea, and see similar items advertised on TV, but this design seems to be the easiest to use and stimulates the most abdominal muscles. It even gets the lovehandles – an area missed by some of the competition.
The downside: the pads that came with my belt were made of ‘medical grade’ gel and worked well the first few times. For the cost of the replacements, I would expect the pads to last longer. The buildup of skin cells degrades the performance of the product. I have read online that people have corrected this issue by using wet sponges (which also uniformly distribute the electrical stimulation). I have not yet tried this, though I will.
The belt can only be used for one purpose. This is obvious in the product description, but I would now like to be able to stimulate other muscle groups, and this belt is not designed to do so.
In all, I got what I expected. I am satisfied with this product.
5 Stars Worth it.
After losing weight, I needed something to tighten my abdominal muscles. With a ventral hernia, my options were limited (surgical correction is not an option). My wife and I have used this device, and we notice a good difference. Yes, it is not as “powerful” as a workout as when younger, but it strengthens the muscles without further abdominal damage. It’s a keeper.
5 Stars Slendertone seems to work well
I was a bit skeptical, but after using the product for the past 4 weeks, it seems to have tightened up my abs. My pants seem to be fitting looser in the waist too. The gel pads seemed to be losing their strength after about 2 weeks. I changed them out at the end of 3rd week.

Valeo Ab Straps

Work your Abs like never before with these durable ab straps.
User Ratings and Reviews
5 Stars Solid Purchase!
I was torn between going with the Harbinger brand straps and these. I was more aware of Harbinger equipment being a good brand but decided to go with the less expensive Valeo straps. I was happy to find that these straps are perfect. They have a solid construction, large calipers to fit on any olympic-size bar, and they have a padded clothe interior so they are very comfortable on the arms. I would recommend these for anyone looking for ab straps.
5 Stars Valeo AB Straps
Great product. Constructed very well.
You’ll get a great AB workout.
Don’t hesitate to purchase this product.
You won’t be sorry.
5 Stars Stop searching, buy these
I’ve researched and used many different ab straps. These are great, especially for the price. The carabiner clips are threaded, somewhat annoying, but easy to get past or you can change them out with your preference if you want to find and purchase new ones. Look no further for your ab straps, buy these!
5 Stars These Things are Amazing!
I bought these because I wanted to be able to work my abs more than just the 3 days that I go to the gym during the week. The carabiners fit very nicely on my pullup bar in my doorway. The straps themselves are very comfortable to lay your arms in. I think its awesome that you have several choices as to how you can arrange your fingers while holding yourself up. You’re bound to find a comfortable position and stick to it. They come out of the package ready to be placed onto your pullup bar, no assembly required. These straps give my abs a more intense workout compared to the stationary hanging leg raise machine at my gym (which does not use straps) and for the price, you can’t go wrong with this product.
4 Stars Very Well Made
These are very well made and sturdy. They easily support your body weight, and they are as comfortable as could be expected for something that supports your weight on this part of your arms. My only complaint is that after a few months use, they still do not collapse when hanging, which makes them about 18 inches wide hanging on the bar. I’d like for them to slide neatly to the side when not in use. That being said, I’m sure I could have purchased a less sturdy pair that would do so.
