Weight Lifting

 

Calories are burned by muscles. Strengthening one’s muscles is a better way to burn calories. This exercise is effective but you don’t need to be bulky or build a lot of mass. Burning fat means that one should build up the level of strength that burn forces the body in order to burn more calories.

 

2) Cardio Exercises

 

Doing some cardio work 2-4 times a week can also burn fat off in order for your six pack abs to appear. Any sport will do like swimming, running, or dancing and doing it at least 20-60 minutes will result best. If you can’t do the high intensity, then low-to-medium intensity is also fine since your body will melt the fat right off.

 

3) Sit-ups and Crunches

 

Doing this consistently can give you the defined look of the abs you are looking for since you have burned enough fat off your abs. This could also treat as a combination cardio/strength training exercise since you are both burning fat and building up the abs sculpting it to six pack look.

One must eat a lot of fiber in the form of nuts, seeds, whole grains and vegetables.

One should not skip breakfast so that you will not overeat at lunch and dinner.

Although it is outside the scope of this article there are many resources available to you regarding proper nutrition.

Your exercise program should include cardio and strength training. If your budget is tight, don’t despair, you can easily get great workouts without going to a gym. Swimming, cycling and walking are great ways to get your heart rate up. You can ride or walk through your neighborhood, to the store or just go for a nature walk. Not only will you be getting a cardio workout but it is also a great way to relieve stress. If you’re just starting out, begin with a 20 minute cardio workout and work your way up to longer periods.

For your strength training you can incorporate push-ups, sit-ups, leg lifts and squats. All of these can be done at home, while traveling or even at work. Start off exercising 3 times a week, then as you become more fit you can gradually increase the days and intensity of your workouts.

Whatever you decide in terms of your diet and exercise program, make sure you stay committed to it. Get friends or family to help encourage you on your way to getting rid of that body

Every man says to himself, "I wish I had an amazing midsection." We want that great look so we can impress our friends and it helps our own self esteem. Men think by working out, or doing hundreds of crunches they will get those amazing abs in no time. We don’t need to diet or do any other workouts except crunches.

Although I wish it were that easy it usually isn’t. Just doing crunches will not be enough to get the thin layer of fat off of your midsection to reveal the abdominal muscles underneath. Crunches will not be enough by themselves to do this, so what is needed is a diet and exercise plan. Neither one will work that well if they are only done by themselves.

A diet is very important because it helps your body get the nutrients and energy it needs to fuel itself through your vigorous workouts. Your body will burn the fat off of your stomach if and only if you are not taking in any more fatty foods, sugars or a lot of red meat. You don’t have to completely stop eating these you just have to cut back on them and eat them in moderation.

Exercise is a very big factor when it comes to getting the abs you want. You must do cardiovascular, strength training and stretching exercises. If you only focus on one thing you will not see the results that you want. By being a more rounded person you will lose the weight you want and be happy.
